Tanky McTankface - a 3D printed tank by HPS

Ever since I got my 3D printer a little under a year ago I have worked on this tank model. Several prototypes later, and countless hours and it is now ready to share! Everything has been optimized for 3D printing and the files will fit on printers with a bed larger than 225x170x170 Or 220x220x170mm

I have printed everything in PETG on a Prusa MK3 with stock settings.

Package contains:

- STL files of version 1

- STL files of alternative gearbox & alternative gear adapters (I highly recommend using this version)

- STL files of v2 track links with exchangeable pads (I recommend printing these tracks, and see if they are enough - If you want more grip you can print the pads later on) 

- 3D PDF of the assembly's (needs to be opened with adobe reader or similar, if opened with browser you will just get a blank screen)

Detailed bill of material with all parts needed & links to places they can be bought as well as list of how many parts to print, and what parts belongs where. Parts that is not 3D printed includes, but are not limited to: Springs, motors, batteries, nuts & bolts. (Bill of material can also be downloaded for free on the discord server)

I have tried to make it as simple as possible so no special parts are needed, and have made multiple variations that can be printed depending on if you want to use printed gears, or metal/plastic spur gears.

I hope you have as much fun building this as I had making it!

Estimated costs for parts not printed - 200-300USD (not including remote control and batteries). The whole thing should be able to be printed with 2-3 kilo's of filament.

Please note:

This product contains just the STL files and BOM - no physical parts. All printing and assembly will have to be done by yourself. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them via the links above.

Update 02 March 2020: Quite a few people have notified me of links on the BOM being out of stock in the places I have linked. These parts will require that you find another place that sells them. The BOM can be downloaded for free on the discord, where there is also suggestions for alternative vendors.
